The trainers at SSP are the best. You can tell they really take pride
in what they do. Their expertise and motivation are unlike anything
I've seen at other facilities. I highly recommend SSP to everyone.

As a client AND an intern at SSP, I feel I am qualified to review this gym. One of the most amazing aspects of SSP is the staff. The trainers are all experienced and knowledgeable; they create each person's workout according to that person's needs, and they truly CARE about the clients. The atmosphere at SSP is great too. All of the people who train at SSP keep the mood light, yet are very serious about their training and are always encouraging each other.
While workouts are tough, they are rewarding- there is a reason so many of the athletes at SSP have moved on to the collegiate and professional levels. Although the gym is becoming crowded (new clients are flocking in), SSP is addressing this need- they are expanding their gym to a larger center across the street. SSP is an amazing enviornment. The greatest and most important aspect is the trainers. They are all certified in many areas, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. This sports specific atmosphere encourages and develops young athletes to the level they want to reach and beyond. It is also a great place for adults and younger children learing to train to reach their maximum potential.
What differentiates SSP from any other place I have been a part of is the individual training programs coordinated with the clients specific sport. Each clients progress is recorded and reevaluated to make sure each client is progressing. I am college baseball player who believed that I was able to get better to maybe one day get to the next level. So I heard about SSP and recently started training there. I can honestly say that I feel like they are pushing me and molding me into a dominant player. I feel as if I am now performing at a greater level than before I started here at SSP. Hey it is Julia Vezina. Well I am four games into my season and I thought I would give you a
little update. Pre-season was extremely hard but fun. We did so much running and
you'll be proud to know that I was always among the leaders, which I was
really happy about cause the last five had to run the whole thing again. It
honestly could have been me running over again if I didn't go to SSP :) That
would not have been fun.
Well I am starting in outside mid. I was so excited our first game when the coach announced the starting line up. I wasn't sure if I was going
to start becasue I was competing with a senior for the spot. But he chose to
start me anyway. College soccer is an amazing experience and I love my team
and everything about this.
I just wanted to thank you for all you have done and
for making me run even though I hated you after :) I wouldn't have
been able to do it without you and SSP.. thanks :)

I spoke with Dan this week about how impressed I was with my daughter's
training for the past 4 weeks. She had not trained for 5 weeks while in Ga
this summer and needed a conditioning program that would quickly enhance
her ability to make her school's soccer team. I was very impressed with her
performance during Try Outs this week during the hottest time of the day. I
appreciate your staffs devotion and encouragement that they gave my daughter.
We will continue to have her a part of SSP during the season of soccer because
it will continue to improve her abilities in the sport. Please express to your staff
how much we appreciate their expertise and caring ways!

Julia had her first game at PBA this Friday. She earned the position of
starting outside mid. She started both halves playing 80 minutes plus two
overtime periods. They won 2-1 over Newberry.
I want to thank you for pushing her hard this summer. Had she not worked
with you at SSP she would not have realized her dream to play soccer in
college. You did a great job!

I can't say enough about SSP. They help me stay fit to keep up with my
Muay Thai students, they help my wife prepare for her marathons, and
they help my son get to the next level with his baseball abilities.
Everyone on staff at SSP exceeds expectations with their knowledge and

I am a 20 year old college student and I have been training with SSP since high school. I wouldn't go any where else. They not only push you to do your best, but they help to motivate you to be the best athlete you can be. It is a great environment and the trainers are absolutely wonderful! SSP is the place to be, no doubt. All the equipment is excellent and the trainers are fun to be around. The trainers know what they are talking about and can help with injuries and so forth. They taught me how to do every drill properly and how to prevent injury. As a runner, they also taught me how to run with efficiently and to run with proper form. They have excellent specialists for all sports and make working out a fun activity. I highly recommend SSP for all ages! [Ranley]
Dear Mr. Hitzelberger:
I wish to express my gratitude to you and your team for improving my physical fitness through your 10 week training course. In particular, I would like to recognize and commend Kallie Jo Jones for motivating me to reach new heights of endurance and weight loss. Her sessions, though intense, were not over-taxing. She has a real gift for making me want to try harder.
Although I was athletic in my teens, my weight had slowly increased over the years. Two years ago, at 40, I began running and occasionally entering 5K events in an effort to “get back in shape”. Still, my weight continued to creep up and my best 5K time was a meager 31:02 although it took all I had to achieve that.
During the course of Kallie’s training, I could feel a surge in energy and endurance. My body weight began to drop dramatically in a rate I didn’t think possible. By the end of the 10 weeks I had lost 13.3 percent body weight and tipped the scales at under 160 pounds for the first time in many years. That alone provides a sense of personal accomplishment. However, at the last 5K event (7 weeks into the training) I clocked a personal best time of 28:42! What is most impressive to me about the finishing time is that after the event I was not “dying” as had been the case previously. In fact, I felt I could have given much more. I know a sub-28 minute 5K is just around the corner for me. But I won’t stop there!
My goals for the training were to improve running endurance and lose weight. Besides that, what I got was a sense of accomplishment, personal pride and athletic confidence. I have been blown away by my progress. I know I owe much of that to Kallie and your training program. The next 10 week training session begins today. I can’t wait to jump right in!

The training my lacrosse team has received from Spectrum Sports Performance is the best I've experienced in my 12 years of collegiate coaching. Not only have my athletes become physically stronger and faster, but more importantly they are mentally tougher than ever before.
